About This Photo:

This photo was taken for the purposes of this tutorial only. Just honestly needed a photo to do this tutorial with and had none. So I went outside and took one. This photo was taken with a Canon EOS Rebel T3i and the Sigma 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 EX DC OS HSM Macro Lens. Exposure settings used was ISO1600, f/5.0, 1/15th second at 61mm (97mm full frame equivalent). No tripod was used which made this very difficult to take at the shutter speed used and took a few shots to get this one that was semi sharp but sharp enough for the tutorial purpose. The strange aperture shown is due to the camera being set in AV mode and fastest aperture available being chosen. Which at 61mm is f/5. ISO1600 was used to get at least 1/15th second shutter speed. If this would have been for sale or a photo for a client I would have used a tripod and ISO100 to get a cleaner and sharper image.
