Lightroom 5 Retouching Workflow, Creating Depth With Color In Your Photos | Video Tutorial
Are your landscape and cityscape photos missing that special something to really make them pop? Perhaps they just appear to flat. Color plays a huge role on how our minds perceive the distance of objects. In this retouching tutorial I will show you the basics of creating depth with color in your images.

About this tutorial:

Color plays a huge role on how we perceive depth. In this tutorial I wanted to show one of the ways I edit my cityscapes and also introduce a blog I follow occasionally called Zevendesign. They talk in detail about color and how it is used in movies, photos and more.

The photo in this tutorial was taken by myself in fall 2014 while in Singapore. The image was taken at the waterfront. This is a panorama compiled of about 4 images. Camera settings used were ISO100, f/6.3, 1/4sec at 31mm. The camera used was my trusty Canon EOS 70D and the amazing Sigma 17-70mm Contemporary lens.
