Went To The Beach Today And Got Some Photos To Show | Blog

Sunset On The Rocks
Finally got to head out to the beach today, rain had been keeping me from taking some great sunset photos this week. The days would be clear and nice up until about 4pm everyday and then it would rain to just past dark. Just a little frustrating to say the least. Its a challenge and often hit or miss to get good sunset photos. You need just the right amount of clouds in the sky to give the sun rays something to refract through to give you some good color, but to many clouds and then you have no sun. I was really worried about this being one of the cases were it would be to cloudy. But right before the sun was to go over the horizon it peaked through with all its brightness. My friends and I took many photos and I got about 200 more to sort from over the next few days. I have three images to show, but they are rushed and I will be going back through them to get better results.
Last LightTop one in the left corner of the page is a HDR that I will be calling Sunset On The Rocks. The second one I am calling last light and will be doing some color tweaking on it. Last one on the bottom I am calling Fishermen's Sunset. Not fully happy with the colors just yet on it as well.

But hey I just got home a hour ago and will be re-editing them again. Do expect to see these and many more from this little photo walk to be put over on deviantART over the next few weeks.

Learn How To Setup Identity Plate & Watermarks In Lightroom 5 | Video Tutorial

Branding is important for business growth and this tutorial will help you start setting up Adobe Lightroom 5's identity plate, plus step you through adding watermarks with in Lightroom's built in watermark tools to display your branding and copyrights on your images.

About this tutorial:

This is another tutorial were I am focusing on the ins and outs of Adobe Lightroom. So many tutorials show photographers how to work in the develop module, but few show anything else about Lightroom. So I am going through every detail of Lightroom and teaching about every detail of the program. In this video tutorial I focus on two things, the Identity Plate and Watermarks. Now I have combined these for two reasons, one they are both about branding and two the ID plate tutorial would be ridiculously short. But since they are simple, I am at least able to provide solid setup detail for anyone needing to use these features in Lightroom 5.
